These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of Data Karate (“we,” “us,” or “our”) IT contracting services and website. By accessing or using our services, you agree to comply with these Terms.

1. Services:

  • We provide IT contracting services as described on our website.
  • Users are responsible for providing accurate and complete information related to their projects.

2. User Responsibilities:

  • Users agree to comply with all applicable laws and regulations.

3. Payment:

  • Payment terms, if applicable, are outlined on our website.
  • Users are responsible for all fees associated with our services.

4. Limitation of Liability:

  • We are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our services.
  • Our liability is limited to the fees paid for our services.

5. Termination:

  • We reserve the right to terminate or suspend user accounts for violations of these Terms.
  • Users may terminate their accounts at any time.

6. Governing Law:

  • These Terms are governed by the laws of Australia.

7. Changes to Terms:

  • We reserve the right to update these Terms. Users will be notified of any significant changes.
  • Subscriptions will continue indefinitely until paused or cancelled. Future price changes will be notified prior to the commencement of a new subscription period.

8. Working Conditions

By using our IT contracting services, you agree to the following working conditions:

8.1 Communication:

  • All communication between the user and Data Karate shall be conducted remotely through Data Karate’s Trello platform. Meetings, calls, emails, or instant messages are outside the scope of services.

8.2 Request Handling:

  • Users are limited to submitting one request at a time (unless the purchase two requests at a time subscription).

8.3 Turnaround Time:

  • The typical turnaround time for requests is 2-3 business days, depending on the size of the request.

8.4 Equipment and Access:

  • Data Karate contractors use their own computers for project work.
  • Data access is securely performed without the use of a VPN.
  • Data access is securely performed without the use of a virtual machine.

8.5 Cloud and Database Access:

  • The client is responsible for providing cloud developer access wherever automation is required. This includes but is not limited to cloud services such as AWS, GCP, Azure, or container services (e.g., Kubernetes).
  • The client is responsible for providing existing database access wherever required.

8.6 Credential Handling:

  • Credentials required to access data and cloud services must be securely shared with Data Karate contractors through Trello, preferably via a secure link.

8.7 Code Sharing:

  • Data Karate contractors share code through a Data Karate GitHub account along with documentation to facilitate use by other developers and analysts.

These working conditions are considered binding and form an integral part of the agreement between the user and Data Karate.
